ORKKA Contact Cement

ORKKA contact adhesive based on neoprene rubber. High tack and fast build-up of end strength. Fast setting with high adhesive strength.

High initial tack with superior heat resistance. Provides excellent final bond strength. Bonds rubber, plastics, leather, decorative laminates, wood, metals, fabrics, and insulating materials. Suitable for use on suspended and vertical flat surfaces.

PREPARATION

Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free of contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Dusty or porous surfaces, such as plywood or hardboard, should be primed before adhesive application.

APPLICATION

Apply evenly to both surfaces using a notched trowel, brush, or straight edge. Once the solvent odor has dissipated (approximately 5 minutes), join the two surfaces. Apply firm pressure over the entire area to ensure optimal contact.

CLEANING

Clean tools immediately after use with cellulose thinners. Spilled material should be absorbed immediately with an inert material, such as sand, and disposed of according to local regulations.

DISPOSAL

Do not leave containers on-site where residue could pose a hazard to children, animals, or the environment. Secure lids and transport empty containers to a designated disposal facility.
