Good prices but they don't do samples for flooring unless its random crappy cutouts around their checkout. They only had 1 of the 5 options for me to bring home. They offered these huge heavy slabs to "rent" for $20 to bring home as a sample. I'm 2 hours away... I'm not bringing back a big slab sample i wont use for $20 when I'm 2 hours away. They also only had 1 slab available so that means I could only bring home 2 of the 5 floors i was interested in home as samples. Most stores you can buy a single plank to bring home as a sample but for some reason you cant do that here. I really don't understand why they make getting samples so fricking difficult.

Overall, its only a good store if you know what you want. Otherwise you will struggle looking for what you want as the place is also a bit of a mess inside.

Overall good, but be careful of non advertised information to customers. Once I have placed my order for hand rails as said in the exposed display, where you can customize and pay by feet I was pushed to buy the whole handrail, after 45 minutes talking to different people the made a very small discount, but still pushed to get 6 extra feet that I did not ask for or need. I went back a month later and still the same display were the customer is misguided and later after payment pushed to buy more than needed. In other stores customer protection will match the display price or accommodate for their mistake. Apparently not here. In the pictures you can clearly see it is sold by ft, no minimum or maximum ft. Same pictures different times to see incorrect information has not been corrected, unsure how many people had payed more at the end. Transparency and fairness is a must in every business.
In contrast, it is clearly written "final sale", you the customer knows what to expect.

Stopped by today to look for solid hardwood flooring and was impressed by the variety and pricing. This location carries a wide range of renovation materials, and the hardwood options in particular were easy to compare and well‑displayed.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole visit felt efficient. If you’re shopping for flooring or other renovation supplies, this is a convenient stop with good value and plenty of choices.

When it comes to renovation supplies, I have to give it to them, a lot of flooring materials, their door selections are great, bath selections are wide, and the quality is excellent. Customer service is an extra bonus for you, the whole team there are very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful.

I recently visited Cosmaroma Home Renovation Supplies to purchase new flooring, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team is incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful. They were super helpful in offering suggestions and recommendations when I needed guidance.

My order arrived exactly on time as promised, and communication between all parties involved in the delivery was seamless. When I realized I didn’t have enough stair steps for my flooring, I called them and they immediately took care of it—placing the order right away and having everything ready for pickup within 2 days. They even made payment easy with online links.

Overall, a great experience with a wide selection of products for all home renovation needs. I’ll definitely be returning for future projects. Thank you, Said and team, for the fantastic service!

Exceptional flooring experience, where quality, value, and genuine service come together.
After visiting numerous flooring, stores around Ottawa, I was frustrated by extremely high pricing and poor customer service. That changed the moment I walked into the store.
I was warmly welcomed by several staff members, and I had the pleasure of working with Fatima, who was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and never pushy. She gave me samples to try at home, took the time to understand what I really wanted and even showed me how products looked like a natural light.
If you’re renovating any room in your home, or business this is the place to go. You’ll be in good hands. This review is for anyone who like me is searching for the right flooring provider and wants to feel good about where they’re investing their money. You can shop here with confidence, knowing you’ll be treated with respect and supported by professional knowledgable staff, and offer products that are made both for your design goals and your budget.

The showroom was absolutely wonderful! They have a wide selection of beautiful tiles, and the team was incredibly kind and friendly. My first visit here was to look at hardwood flooring. I wanted to match flooring the same as my other rooms. I was happily surprised to find a similar colour, width & thickness of my other floors. The price was also very competitive with other stores. I received the flooring about 2 1/2 weeks after I ordered it. I haven’t installed it yet but the quality looks very nice. I went back to get baseboards but purchased the wrong kind. Waleed was amazing! He helped me find the correct kind & and provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond. Because of him I will be back to purchase more flooring & if anyone is looking for building materials I will recommend this store! By the way they really have very nice products.

I have been a customer of the Cosmaroma Ottawa store for the past three years, and I’m very happy to say that whenever I need something for my home, I always check there first—and usually end up buying it from them!

Cosmaroma is hands-down the best place to buy renovation materials. Their prices are often 25–30% lower than regular renovation stores, and the quality is excellent. The shopping experience is also much more personal compared to big-box stores. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help.

I recently renovated my entire basement and purchased most of my materials from Cosmaroma. The savings compared to chain stores were significant. While the entire team is a pleasure to deal with, I want to give a special thank you to Faisal, Fatima, and Waleed for going above and beyond to assist me and my wife with selecting the right materials. They were incredibly helpful and patient. Fatima even asked about my wife’s well-being every time we visited—such a thoughtful touch!

Now, Waleed is helping us with the 3D design and selection process for our kitchen renovation. He’s been extremely helpful and always treats us like VIPs.

Another great thing about Cosmaroma is their customer service—staff members even help load large and heavy items into your car, with great care. That’s something you don’t see often these days, and it really makes a difference.

I first visited Cosmaroma on a whim when I was looking to purchase vinyl plank flooring for my condo. The sales representative helped me find a product that was MUCH better quality than what I was planning on buying from another store, and it was less expensive! On top of that, the service that their staff provided was so fantastic that I ended up going back to buy my baseboards, bathroom vanity, and backsplash from them! The whole crew was helpful and friendly; every interaction I had with anyone who worked there was a pleasant one. When a slight miscommunication between my contractor and I resulted in me purchasing 260 sq ft of ceramic tile rather than the 26 sq ft I actually needed, Cosmaroma was super understanding and accommodating with their return process. We all had a good laugh about the situation, which really helped alleviate a lot of my stress! They took great care of me and I felt like they genuinely cared. I would HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone doing renovations, especially a newbie like me! Thank you x1000!!!

Cosmaroma has a beautiful selection of tiles not to mention the larger ceramics such as the black and blue shown in the picture. I purchased my shower tiles, gold recessed shelf, gold tile edging, LVT, lovely style baseboards and much more at a very competitive price. The experience would not have been the same without Mr. Faysal. All around gentleman, very respectful, beyond helpful, provides suggestions and ideas, really knows his stuff. Not sure why he has not been promoted to district manager. They better watch out because he will be snatched up soon.
