The long, wide planks reduce the busy look that can come from shorter boards. The 1.5 mm attached backing combines installation convenience with useful sound-reduction performance. Long-side 5GI joints and drop-lock ends create a practical system for new construction and remodels on, above or below grade. Where underfloor heating is specified, the rigid-core floor can be used with hydronic radiant heat maintained within the specified 26°C maximum.
